On most Saturday mornings, a group of running enthusiasts from the IOG take part in one of the many Parkrun events in Suffolk. On 26th March, our group met at the Felixstowe Leisure Centre to run, walk and volunteer. Pete took on the role of tail walker.
It certainly was a lovely day to be at the seaside. The ground was rather sandy and stony in parts, but still easy to run – and absolutely flat underfoot.
A total of 314 people took part, some were pushing buggies, others were accompanied by canine friends, and one person was bedecked in balloons!
After the run, our group had coffee and breakfast at the SeaYou cafe on the Felixstowe sea front.
