Four of us started on the planned 26-mile cycle ride through Rendlesham forest along many of its tracks.
The winds from Storm Kathleen hardly bothered us within the trees and, as a bonus, there was very little water and mud about.
Due to some routing challenges with my Garmin cycle computer getting confused about directions (probably coupled with operator error), we ended-up taking some unplanned tracks, but that really just added to the fun.
In the end we decided to cut the route short by 3 miles, but it didn’t detract from a good ride-out and exploration of the forest.
