As a couple of scheduled walks had to be cancelled because of bad weather, Marie took advantage of a free day with a good forecast to lead her first IOG walk.
It was a great walk of just over 10 miles attended by 13 people and Newbie the dog.
It was a cold, still day. The ground was mostly sturdy under foot because of the frost, with a few muddy patches, but that’s what we like.
We walked from Suffolk Food Hall through lovely quiet countryside via Woolverstone and Holbrook and looped round to Wherstead.
It blew the cobwebs off and left us looking forward to more walks in 2025. Thanks Marie for a great day out, followed by a drink at the Oyster Reach pub.
